Atomic Weight Of Secrets Or Arrival Of

One of the unique aspects of Steampunk is not only its depth of new literature, but that a good portion of it is directed towards “younger readers”, introducing those with a budding curiosity into the world of Steampunk.  However, The Atomic Weight of Secrets or the Arrival of the Mysterious Men in Black, piqued my interest, as is a book in which…

“…five young inventors are kidnapped in the year 1903 by mysteries men dressed all in black. If the children ever hope to escape and unravel the many secrets surrounding their entrapment, they must learn to work together on their greatest invention yet. It’s a story of wondrous inventions set in the Victorian era; more than that, it’s the story of the power of invention and the still stronger power of friendship.”

Personally, I prefer the Mysterious Men in Black and the Inventions, but there is more… I found the website well designed, and even includes audio snippets (of perhaps preparations of further development of the work), and an intriguing game included – with beakers, large pincers, and lab assistants (always a great combination)!

I understand there will be a competition regarding the game, with details to follow shortly – but still to learn more about The Atomic Weight of Secrets or the Arrival of the Mysterious Men in Black, which has had positive reviews on Amazon, can be found there, at Indybound, its publisher, or a simple visit to the book’s home page, at: http://younginventorsguild.com/
