Steampunk Cinema First Men In Moon In 3

Though Avatar is the first science fiction movie in modern 3-D, it appears that it will not be the only one!  Praxinoscope LLC productions are in the process of  re-making the H.G. Well’s classic “The First Men in the Moon”, and will be coding it in 3-D as well.  I had my doubts about tinkering with a such a classic and answering some of the basic science questions which were not known at the turn of the century (e.g. “Was there an atmosphere on the moon?”), but the in-depth interview with director belayed my concerns, providing a unique perspective into the crafting of the endeavor.  Do take a moment and watch the 2-D version, and follow along at the main page for more movie details, clips, background, and historical facts, at… http://www.thefirstmeninthemoon.com/
… with the full movie projected to be released in the first half of 2010!
