Google celebrates the 1854 Worlds Fair!

Perhaps one of the more subtle supporters of Steampunk is Google, and once again, they are taken an innovative step with their header!  This time, they are celebrating the 1854 World’s Fair, which highlighted the Crystal Palace.  As one passes a mouse over the image, one can see via a “telescope”, different aspects of the event – including the Queen, I believe!  For more details, just head over to Google, and to learn more about the World’s fair, click on the logo!

When you hover the lens over the clock, you see rotating gears…while the unmagnified image just shows a clock face.
